Thanks for this. Will keep in mind. My dad's drink of choice was always Vodka and Tonic. Tasted awful. IMHO. Now I have to wonder if he did it due to the fact that during the war, he did get scarlet fever. Maybe he was told to continue to drink tonic water on occasion, for the quinine?
