Might as well pull your kids out entirely. They're going to be at home staring at a fucking screen anyway - what good is the teacher?

Without the teacher kids would be learning things like math and science and it would be impossible to brainwash them to think the polar caps will be gone by 2013 if we don't give Al Gore a couple hundred million dollars.

But seriously - every parent should pull their kids out until schools re-open. If everyone did it, the entire public education system would collapse. Every teacher across the country would be making coffee and working registers - which is where they belong at this point.

Should pull their kids out and keep them out. IMO. And demand states return the taxes (I think our failed schools account for something like 50% of a state's budget).

Homeschooled kids do better and learn faster. They get better jobs and make more money.

I don't even have kids and I still have to pay property taxes, so I don't think that'll be happening anytime ever, lol.

I was home schooled growing up and I'd rather have my daughter-law home schooled, but her mom and I both need to have jobs because of the overpriced demotaxes

A lot of parents are really, really, fucking stupid. There's no way they could effectively homeschool their children- even with tutors.

work all night, I work all day, to pay the bills I have to pay Ain't it sad And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me That's too bad In my dreams I have a plan If I got me a wealthy man I wouldn't have to work at all, I'd fool around and have a ball Money, money, money Must be funny In the rich man's world Money, money, money Always sunny In the rich man's world Aha aha All the things I could do If I had a little money It's a rich man's world It's a rich man's world

They'll still demand payment, and probably get it because their unions are so in bed with the Democrats. Being a teacher is such an easy job, sorry not sorry. Summer off, like 10 weeks of vacation during the school year, just a fucking joke.

In virtual school my kid was done with her homework within 30 minutes every day. And half the homework was YouTube videos, or poll questions just to make sure you're at least pretending to do the work.

No, they'd be on unemployment making more than they did teaching. (Coffee shops are going under left and right, too.)

teachers are actually getting their full salary.

Federal unemployment benefits are done-zo last I heard. My wife lost her job in early April and has been looking for a new one and she was making about the same as she was working with the federal $600/week, but now she's making far less with just unemployment.

Bongino talks about this - the teacher union, usually politically savvy, is shooting them selves in the foot.

My advice to my daughter. She did the "virtual" bit with her kids because she wasn't prepared to totally homeschool them. Now she is. I expect them to be ready for online university in a year or two. I'm not joking.

This is a great awakening to the horrible state of our education system. Parents will see the pure indoctrination happening and many middle of the spectrum parents will red pill.

I told my mom if her my kid sister’s district goes virtual only, to pull her out and put her in one of the free state approved virtual high schools.

I mean if you’re going to do virtual why not go with a more established program that has been doing this longer than 6 months.

For example in Texas, Houston ISD and Huntsville ISD (among a few others) have an established program that’s been around for years and years. They know how to teach kids virtually, it’s not half assed.

Random Town ISD isn’t going to even come close. Don’t get me wrong some teachers try their ass off but it’s best to go with experienced.

Obviously if you can afford a private school or private paid homeschool program, that’s a different story.

This is for those who can’t afford that at the moment
