If mask work, why the fuck are you angry people aren't wearing one?

EDIT : those 2 downvoters need to prove mask work. The people that mess with viruses and shit are in isolated, full body suits pumping oxygen into them. Prove to me mask work and I'll think about wearing one.

I always thought that was a very clever ploy on the lefts part - to say masks protect others from you. It turns every non mask wearing person into the enemy and in their crazy minds, justifies assault. If you told people a mask would protect them, then they wouldn't care if others didn't wear one.

Yea, this whole thing is a well thought out attack on the American way of life. It's as clever as it is evil. The people behind it are amoral psychopaths.

They are conditioning us to see our freedoms as selfish

CuomoisaMassMurderer 19 points ago +19 / -0

They are TRYING to accomplish that

For real Americans, who are neither weak nor spineless, they're merely fucking around. And they're oblivious to the second half of that equation.

I could bloviate about working my ass off all my life, up out of poverty and etc., and I didn't do it to submit to tyranny. Except I realize this pertains to every one of you here and we know what it means to be an American!

Collectivism 101

They like to do this for any pet issue they can:

Gun control only works if everyone does it. Masks only work if everyone does it. Vaccines only work if everyone does it. Socialism only works if everyone does it.

It's peak external locus of control.

This whole argument is tragically flawed imo. In order for it to be valid we are saying that every single person in the country has the virus.

If we all have the virus, what's the problem?

This was an intentional propaganda tactic discussed in South Africa and the Czech Republic.

If we're being honest, yes, that's their argument. For being the "logical party" this hive mind just can't get their minds wrapped around the logic on this issue, or everyone is just pretending to not understand and therefore being disingenuous.

If you can smell your deli, your mask failed you.

Masks only work for people who are already sick.

Who should be quarantined anyway.

What about evidence of asymptomatic or presymptomatic people being contagious or no?

2
Averon 2 points ago +2 / -0

I read they based that asymptomatic thing of people that got sick in Germany from someone, but the people that got sick didn't know the person they got it from had symptoms and several months later, the one that spread it confirmed they actually did have symptoms at the time. But by then that time all the "professionals" were just going by the asymptomatic narrative.

I wish I knew where I read that so I could give you a link.

Here is a link to an article about what I was referring to, I know it's not where I originally read it though.

So you're saying the 'asymptomatic carrier' idea was debunked and false from day 1. I have heard this, too. Yet we still see people talking about the dreaded 'asymptomatic carrier.'

2
Rugar22 2 points ago +2 / -0

Even then they are not contagious.

The only way they can pass it is by sneezing or coughing on something and then someone touching that same spot, then going to touch their face. If they are wearing the mask, it covers up the sneeze or cough.

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Or if people simply cover their sneeze or cough, like any decent human would do anyway. In that case none of the other precautions has any benefit?

Cloth masks don't work. Surgical masks only block the virus somewhat if it is coming from the wearer. Respirators need to be fitted and worn properly to work. This is medical facts that the left parroted. They seem to have completely forgotten about these facts.

The left does not know how to think for themselves. They only listen to authority and they are the ones who would create and embrace authoritarianism in America.

So you'd spend $200 on a full mask (that might come with a 1 hour activated charcoal cart) ?

7
AlphaAsPhuck 7 points ago +7 / -0

I said I'll think about it, which is a hell no. I'll have someone with covid sneeze on me before i wear a diaper.

Explain about this $200 mask that might actually do something? For future reference. I don't think anything near me warrants much, but people on public transport might benefit now. And if we get hit by a "new improved" bioweapon this coming winter or some shit, you know.

Operating cost? Protection from tear gas?

Standard fitted gas mask. I am seeing some testing of infused masks though, but that's lab stuff. Check out the recently studied salt infused and battlefield tested oil infused masks.

Ok. Blow out candle. Try same with mask. Breath go farther without mask. You can science too!!!

However the notion that the law can suddenly force us all to wear one or that public shame is the tool to make anyone safer, that’s foolish.
