Rattlesnake venom is only dangerous in the bloodstream. That is the general difference between poisons and venoms.

I wouldn't advise eating or snorting venom though. Unless it is that kind of party.

That escalated quickly.

I love you glorious bastards! Now, how do we make control freaks like this pay? Some seem not to realize the list of Nationwide stores that have reversed their position on masks. They want our business, they won't confront us over it. I doubt they want customers making a scene, either. Us escalating to violence won't help anything. Verbal threats can be "assault." We can't reason with them, obviously.

Can we go about our business and completely ignore them? If they move to get in our way is it our fault if they wind up on their ass?

Nice try, illuminati. We know snake venom is a miracle drug now!

Poisons are toxins which are ingested, absorbed, or inhaled. Venoms are toxins which are injected.

Total sidenote, while I was looking this up to verify that my memory was correct, I came across a fun bit of trivia:

Occasionally an animal can be both venomous and poisonous. The blue-ringed octopus, for example, is venomous when it bites with its beak but it is poisonous if it is swallowed. This is because it has a myriad of toxins in it, with the most potent (tetrodotoxin) able to be absorbed due to its very small size.

Don't touch the blue ringed octopi.

I just steer clear of snakes, tropical spiders, and the ocean altogether.

...and Florida. I'm not playing any games with alligators. I'll just stay up North here where it's too cold for those jive ass animals.

It's kinda crazy how people downplay the danger of alligators and bears. I once worked at a golf course with some big ass gators on it. Just out and about sun bathing. There was a shortcut between two holes that would sometimes be crowded with baby gators and teenage gators. Mom somewhere nearby. Too many times I'd be in a rush and end up surrounded by little gators - again, mom nearby.

It's a natural occurrence termed 'aposematism', it can frequently be found in the SJW communities in which the leftist sub-species displays brightly colored hair and tattoos to warn men as to their poison. Nature is amazing.
