Social distancing is a public health term which means physical distancing. They should have used physical distancing from the beginning, its less confusing. You see physical distancing in CDC messaging now.

It's called doublespeak.

No, its just industry jargon.

industry jargon

That term literally wasn't a thing prior to this crisis. I've been sick plenty of times and not once have I ever been told by a doctor to "practice social distancing". It was a buzzword created to go along with this pandemic. It's not "industry jargon" because the "industry" never used that term prior to communists creating it and forcing it on the "industry". It's Commie doublespeak introduced to the "industry", if anything.

You have no clue what you’re talking about. Social distancing is 100% a public health term and has been used for years.

Your doctor wouldn't tell you to social distance because you wouldn't know what that means. Also there would be no reason for you to social distance before this pandemic unless your in the middle of a measles outbreak or something else that doesn’t happen often in the U.S.

Also, your doctor practices medicine by providing healthcare services they don’t practice public health.
