The Postal Worker's Union is Communist. 100% ALL of it's leadership is Communist. Always has been. They make noises about how they are "democrats", but when you hear them actually talk, it's how they are always fighting "the Bosses", and calling each other "comrade".
Had an inlaw who was the local postal union commissar. Thought moderate Democrats were Right Wing Nazis, and how Cuba was too lenient toward non-Socialists. (Also a life member of the NRA, so he had some heartburn about Clinton.)

My husband is a Mail Carrier but before working at USPS, he worked in non-union trucking and route delivery. The way the Union battles the management at usps is a joke. Management has their hands tied and are essentially harassed by the Union on a regular basis. The shitty employees know the union makes them untouchable, so they continue being shitty employees with no reprocussions. There is no incentive to do better so they just don't. My husband still has the work ethic and mentality he gained at his other jobs, and still uses logic when approaching his job. The management love him, the Union is always trying to get him to file grievances because of how he is "mistreated" by the management. It is baffling to us how they always try to make my husband feel like a victim, when in reality he is a responsible adult who goes to work as scheduled and does his job to the best of his ability. The Union reps are always looking for a fight with the management, they make the job 10 times harder than it actually has to be.
