I had a similar experience with USPS recently. Unfortunately, that city 50 miles away was not the city I live in. They sent it to another city 3 hours away, and a week later finally delivered it.
>To my neighbors down the street, and left the package outside in the rain because they were gone all weekend.
Moar fun with USPS: when their "tracking LOL" showed another recent package was "delivered" to my address, the vendor and local USPS office told me I was out of luck because their "GPS data showed they delivered it to my address."
>2 weeks later, I had forgotten about the package. It finally arrived (at another neighbor's house) crumpled, with no explanation.
Don't even get me started on FedEx, they suck like a 50c crack-ho. I will never use them again, unless I'm just looking to collect the insurance payoff for the items they destroy.
