I wonder if that hospital is using Remdesivir on the patients.

The adverse event profile for remdesivir as a treatment for COVID-19 remains murky, although liver and kidney risks are emerging.

This article is missing a lot of information. For example, how many of these patients were intubated? The data is from patients treated earlier in the year before people figured out that ventilators were exacerbating the effects of the cytokine storm. How many of these patients had comorbidities like diabetes and/or obesity? What is the average age of these patients? Why haven't we heard about this occurring at other hospitals? Maybe if they were given HCQ at the onset of symptoms, they could have avoided kidney damage. Also, were they given Remdesivir?
