Hate Crimes are the left's way of using subjective means to punish others that go against their protected class. Friend of mine got in a fight and accidentally killed the guy. It was in a blue metro area. The guy he killed on accident was gay. He served 19 without parole. He would have gotten less because it was an accident. That's the hate crime that is not real. He didn't kill the guy because he was gay. It was over a disagreement in passing.
