For those of you who are not intimately familiar with the M4, that black guy was like a 12 year old virgin boy describing the inner workings of sex with a woman. What he was incorrect about is so basic and fundamental to operating a closed bolt weapon, that it's as if he has never touched one before. It's tantamount to telling somebody that the gas is the brake and the brake is the gas when driving a car. Unreal.

Man, it would have been worse if he was even partially literate. Could you imagine him somehow blaming the free floating firing pin? To a non gun person, that sounds like a dangerous setup, leading to a ban on guns with free floating firing pins, because they have no idea what they are talking about.

It's fucking clown world though. Where a suppressor is a regulated gun attachment. Could you imagine if a muffler required a tax stamp to have one on your car? It's retarded.

Depending on what his MOS within the military was, he might have very little experience with firearms. One of the biggest myths in the United states is that all soldiers are masters of firearm use.

In fact, if we're being honest, the people in the military who actually know how to shoot guns are the people who are in combat arms. Army Infantry, marine infantry, any ranger, special operations guys of all stripes. Most(not all) other people in the military are just barely adept when it comes to handheld firearms. There may be a few that are okay with larger types of weapons, mounted guns, various types of missiles, rockets and other munitions.

Do you really think that your Jag officer or your cook is a master in the use of firearms?

Clearly NFAC rations consist of McDonalds and twizzlers.
