Would you be willing to divide the country? Would you move your family to one side or the other for freedom? Would you split the US down the middle and completely separate. We could let this crazed liberal half of the country forge ahead with their socialist pipedream. We would branch off and elect our own officials based on our beliefs in minimal federal government interference, our beloved constitution and capitalist economics. It seems that even if we can elect Donald Trump in spite of extreme election interference, we'll be facing half of the country going insane with more massive protests, riots and destruction, constant wasting of taxpayer money over repeated investigations and impeachments. I'm not sure how much longer this can go on without bankruptcy. Would you be willing to leave your home and form a new world that's safe? Let these socialists fend for themselves.

Then if we lose the election, God forbid, will we just "en masse" refuse to pay taxes. That would be an interesting tactic. Food for thought. They can't arrest half the country.

There is no retreat. If we split and fracture that's it, game over. We'll Balkanize and end up much like Europe will be in 10-20 years (hint their culture is going to be gone).

The one from within is willing to riot, destroy property, disown friends and family with different opinions, impeach the President over and over for no reason, vandalize property, lie about everything, take over the media to spread disinformation. Hijack the school system we pay dearly for and brainwash our young from childhood!! There are no lengths to which they won't go. Picking up the pieces of this internal destruction will fall squarely on people like us...Taxpayers... Hard workers... People who love America. We don't have unlimited resources to repair all the damage. They're already tearing the country apart and these riots will escalate when we reelect Trump. Half the population of our country will be voting for Democrats so this has the potential to end up ravaging our beautiful nation. I just want these people to reap what they sow. And I don't want to have to pick up the pieces of America once they're through tearing it apart. I want THEM to have to pay.

I actually think this is where we’re headed. I think it’s possible that what separates and divides the country ultimately ends up being race.
I think the quest for freedom and less government interference is what will divide us in the end. The left will tear our country apart.
We are headed that way. The problem here is that the conservative states tax payers are needed by the socialist states to fund their communist project.
But the conservative states need access to the oceans of military and defence. Both sides need one another and they know it.
I'm worried that the left will decimate the military and it will end up being a moot point.
But I do love the idea of conservatives withholding tax payments en masse if socialists do get elected. A non-violent protest with a massive impact and message.

Be patient and keep strong. The side-effect of COVID-19 is that it impacted all dense population centers which are based on consumption of products and services.
The half that you're talking about are cities. They already took a fatal hit, the next 10 years are going to remain interesting. The fear that's been instilled is not going away after the election.

But don't you think that the fallout from the failure of those big blue cities means those people will disperse and head to our strong, successful, capitalist states like Texas, turning them blue too? Eventually, our voices won't matter. Especially, once non-citizen are given voting rights.

I think I may have misunderstood you. You said at the end of your comment that "the left are going to make a play to stop the election with mail in ballots and install one of their own and that would be the end." But you didn't mention what that would be the end of. I thought you meant that would be the end of us, conservative freedom fighters because "one of them" would be in charge. That's why I made that comment about throwing in the towel. I'm on your side. Just didn't understand what you meant.
And calling me a shill when I'm new and just learning how to navigate the platform here isn't necessary. Why not give new people a leg up instead of knocking them down. We want to build our support group of die hard Americans not drive them out.
