I posted about this above/below, I have a family member going through this. You can get 10 or 20 opinions about transitioning and it won't matter, the entire psychiatric community is in lockstep about affirming. That's all they do.

I have been watching some history of transgenderism in academia, and can I say the least - its bonkers. I cannot believe how easy it is to corrupt academics.
They really trailblazed fake-science and what we see with Covid is just continuation to the logical conclusion.
Thanks, I appreciate it. Watching a lovely girl turn into a poor facsimile of a male is tragic. You still love them but the uncanny valley makes it all very disturbing.
From my experience the only thing parents can do right now if they think their minor kid is considering this is get them off social media and the internet.
My granddaughter went through this, I think it makes them feel like part I f the trend. Luckily my son went with it as far as letting her change her name to a nickname and let her wear boyish clothes. It lasted all of 2 yrs. She also thought she was lesbian at 10 yrs old. I truly believe that push this stuff in school. Now she has all kinds of crushes on boys.
