Anyone know where DM got the video and why the published it? The still tried to spin it that the junkie was murdered in the article but if they didnt there would be not DM tomorrow. They knew what they were doing - they wanted the video to get out and they had to write an orwellian article to justify it.

I keep thinking why UK DailyMail published the video

It was probably someone working on the legal defense for the officers. Obviously shot on a cellphone, probably at the courthouse.

The powers that be didn't want this released to the public.

Americans tend to often leak through British media and vice versa. WHY? We have a common language which makes writing articles easier. And, we have separate court systems. It's harder for the American government to pursue a British media outlet than an American outlet and vice versa.

Someone speculated that because people viewing the footage had to provide their own mask it was only a matter of time before someone concealed a camera inside their mask to film it. Great work

And we've seen absolutely nothing about it on the BBC in the UK.

Ya know what? They can have it as far as I'm concerned. Might be a sign that real journalism has a chance again.

Anyone could have concealed a cam and went to the court house to view it.

The judge made it available for viewing.

One smart dude recorded it and got paid.

Thats what I'd heard, that video was available for in person viewing only. Surprised Keith Ellison allowed that. Someone got it with a stealth can for sure. Good work, Whistle Blower.

A Judge allowed it.

Yeah, and the crazy thing is the transcripts have been available since June.

They tell the same story, including the overdosing Floyd saying he can't breathe before anybody is doing anything near his airway, a classic way for criminals to "cry Wolf" in order to try to convince softer cops to be lenient.

Oh yeah, and he asks to be on the ground too.

If that's the case, the Court would have kept records of who was allowed to view it. So just a process of elimination.

Could it be a cop who can to view it.
