As an aside, are the cops guilty of anything besides bad optics? They would have known that they were dealing with someone who is high -- they do it all the time. But should they have known that he had taken a dangerous overdose, and rushed to get him medical attention? Would more training have helped? Defunding, obviously, would not.

Almost everyone, including people on this site, were saying Floyd’s death was terrible, and that the police were responsible.
Is Trump supposed to know what nobody else knows? Is he supposed to say what nobody else is saying or even comprehending?
He often does both of those things. That’s why he was elected. But not always.
