Be a Californian and realize your donations to NRA does not a damn thing in this god forsaken shithole state ran by socialist democrats from top to bottom.
Donate to CRPA they tell me, they're doing the leg work in California for the NRA they tell me. Fuck them all is what I say, when guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns; call me Pepe the Kid.
There’s a mountain of reasons. Are you seriously acting like they are angels? How about the recent scandal of them rigging who gets voted in and takes care of la Pierre covered by Jared of guns and gadgets. Or the fact that they were fine with banning bump stocks? Or all the shit with them blowing money on shit for personal reasons and nothing to do with protecting our rights? Or even the topic of this post! Where are they??
In addition to what the other guy said, they literally lobbied for the 1968 Gun Control Act. Leftists treat the NRA like some big boogieman, but GOA, SAF, and state level organizations are more effective and actually fight for our rights instead of just talking about it.
I’m torn here. The NRA is easily the largest and most influential of its peers, and thus donations there can do the most good, as opposed to somewhere like GoA.
But they really have left me disappointed with their inaction for as long as I can remember now.
I couldn't have said it better myself. I will support BOTH and now a few others I have learned about through this great site. There are still many strong people there and we need every ounce of support we can get to fend off the disgusting liberals and their related ideology (or idiot-ology)
Hardly being a shill to call out LaPierre's lack of leadership going all the way back to when the mainstream media and gun grabbing politicians were drumming up the public's fear of "semi-automatic weapons" (cue dun-dun-DUN music).
So sick of hearing the "bUt ItS a wOrThLesS aCcEsSory" argument from supposed freedom lovers. You sound like a cucked lib making the "but why do you need that" argument.
How the fuck is that a strawman? OP literally is quitting NRA because of their silence about McCloskey's. Everybody on here is saying go to GOA, but I'm not seeing any action from them either. Was a legitimate question.
They are more or less advocates of "sensible gun control", despise absolutists, misrepresent the purpose of the 2nd Amendment, and think guns in hands of populace are for hunting and target shooting sports.
In other words, they are a subversive controlled opposition LARPing as a pro-gun lobby that is yet to file and win a single meaningful lawsuit. At best, they are grifters.
Their own website lists 4(!!!) suits they have "joined" since at least 2013. All-n-all, it reeks of tax write-off scam (among other things) for its "founder" and CEO Gene Hoffman.
Just like most of these groups who live off of clueless saps.
Aside from philosophical aspects of all these "legislative" hustlers most of whom couldn't care less about the 2nd Amendment or "gun rights" and are in it for the money. If it weren't true, we wouldn't be having this conversation as advocacy would've long ago been shifted from legislation to activism, absolutism, non-compliance, and defense of the illegally prosecuted activists.
I wouldn't say I'm well-versed, but I dabble on the level of an armchair legal expert ;).
What I am well-versed in is the historic outcomes of events such as what's been transpiring in the West for the last few decades and armed citizenry is essential to preserving at least a resemblance of the founders' vision of this experiment.
I was raised in the USSR and only recently discovered that at least a quarter of our family has disappeared somewhere in the gulags or some such. My own parents still don't want to believe that actually happened because their parents (my Grandparents, who are all now dead) wouldn't talk about it.
There is a lot that at this point isn't even worth discussing, such as the analysis of how we got here, but private weapons ownership is the only thing holding the inevitable attempt to turn us in some form of USSR.
If you don't like the NRA you should be working on getting them to change. Getting rid of the most recognized pro-gun group only benefits the anti-gun crowd. This position is the Soros position.
That Colion Noir guy on YouTube held his own against Bill Maher and his goons. NRA should raise him up more. Based black dude who clearly loves freedom and amendments 1 & 2.
They tried that in 77 and it almost worked, until the fudds decided to do nothing about the Hughes amendment and Clinton AWB. They've only started acting like they give a shit about black rifles once Obama came along.
Now that you mention it, I feel like the NRA has been suspiciously absent from MSM focus. Historically, NRA has ALWAYS been the number one priority of the Left owned media. NRA probably in DNC pocket somehow, so no need for MSM propaganda that could be used to televise career criminal s like black-women-beating-drug-addict Floyd in golden coffins instead.
I suspect the NRA don't want to add fuel to the fire at this delicate juncture...there are already plenty of big 'names. supporting the McCloskeys..i.e Trump, Don Jr, the Governor, the AG..and us!! So they're in good hands. Don't need NRA.
The NRA were there, right at the beginning for Trump giving him his first serious endorsement. Kudos for that.
While I can appreciate diplomacy and certainly understand your point, the only delicate juncture here is doing nothing to stop this BLM/Marxist movement brought on by foreign regimes controlling narrative through social media and msm with the singular goal of destroying America, her constitution of the republic, her culture, and her history.
Totally disagree. If the NRA wants to be all about firearm education, then they can stay out of this. However, if they want to brand themselves as "America's foremost defender of Second Amendment rights" (from their site), then they should be vocal in every case where people are being stripped of their rights.
Just like every milquetoast Republican, they can't just show up when convenient and expect to be respected.
Normally, I'm all on board with this- but since Trump sent them here to Chicago two weeks ago, weekend shootings are dropping like crazy. Still want to wait and see if fed response is the cause, but the first weekend they were here we had an abnormal drop to something like only 67 shootings that weekend, and this past weekend we're down to the 30s. Now the local media is reporting that shootings are up by a crazy amount this year to hide the recent good news. And yes, they are up for the year but we also had about a month and half of madness.
The DC swamp suburbs did this to Virginia. We in real Virginia have no representation at all. Richmond obey their masters, the government employees in Northern Virginia.
Yep, between the massive growth of the federal government, and the "refugee" and immigrant influx, our state has been decimated. We need to carve off Fairfax and maybe a couple other counties and give them to DC.
Coonman and his Bloomberg posse are about to sign laws to defund police, possible "bail reform" (catch and release like NYC), and most importantly to outlaw all modern firearms. Virginia will be a third world hellhole with the biggest 2A infringements in the country.
Yuuuuup. Northern Virginia, southern Maryland, and DC all need to merge into one big shithole where they can destroy each other with their pedorat policies. I truly hope that Blackface Northam and Bloomberg answer to the people for their crimes against them and against the Constitution.
If you were from TX you'd blame Californians. Even tho they're on the border. Look at the electoral map of Texas that southern blue wall just keeps growing
Hey now, I live in that swamp! You're right though, it has really gone downhill here in the past decades. If it's any consolation, I feel like I no longer have any representation either (not a government worker myself). In the past, it was at least possible for reasonable candidates to be elected despite how my neighbors might be voting, but it seems like we've reached a point where the swamp is too deep. It's really sad, I moved here rather than the People's Republic of Maryland because VA was more based.
My family moved to VA against their will, in 1740. 😁 It's really sad what has happened to such a great state in so short a time. I don't think there's any saving it now. Like you said, the swamp is too deep.
They can buy ads, they can market themselves to voters. They should be doing outreach to all of these new gun buyers in blue states. The looting and rioting is such a low hanging red pill. Hispanics and law abiding blacks in IL are buying guns at record rates.
Is it though? When the NRA actively told its members to not support activities being supported by one of its own state-level lobbying affiliates, the VSSA? Pffffft.
They were afraid because they would lose their gun range permit and probably their headquarters. That blackface Governor has them under control, that's why the Governor stays where he is.
It didn't work. They're about to start a special session, with one of its goals being to outlaw all indoor ranges in the state, including the NRA's range. Bowing before tyrants never works.
FWIW, the NRA sent out emails and published notices telling its members to not show up for Lobby Day, throwing shade on Lobby Day and saying that showing up to committee meetings a week earlier was more effective. Which was an outright lie, or an indication that the NRA knew absolutely nothing about the state's legislative process. Showing up at first committee meetings when the order of business is not much more important than deciding how to stack the rooms' chairs.
I want my experience with the NRA to be pleasant, not a constant clutter of request to renew my NRA Subscription or to make a donation in my in-box and mail-box. Good company, bad management. They seem very money hungry!!!! Which is worrisome!
Yes, I support the stated goal of the NRA, but they desperately need a change in management. The spam emails, raffles, wine clubs, and other solicitations are just a waste of my membership $ and don't reflect an org that's focused on fighting for the 2A.
I'm a lifetime member of the NRA. They do still fight for gun rights, but you're right, as long as lapierre is in there, we will lose ground. We need the Nuge to overthrow that worthless asshole.
I can't stand being a member, they spam and constantly harass begging for more support. Every issue of their mags is based om imminent fear, immediate danger, silly shit. If they were better managed (more adult) they would appeal to a much larger and wealthier demographic. Unfortunately, my gun club requires membership, so I deal with it.
Support the Second Amendment Foundation, https://www.saf.org/. They are a group of lawyers that sue local and state governments that infringe on our 2nd amendment right.
^^^ This! It took a long time to get my membership card because of so many people joining last year (good news, yes?), and they're definitely focused on our 2A rights.
Possibly, Antifa seems to still exist. Maybe I'm just trying to justify the $100 I just dropped for a 3 year membership. Sigh. I seriously had no idea about all these other groups, I thought the NRA was it.
I mean, $33 per year doesn't sound too bad. And I don't think the NRA is an awful organization, you just have to figure out your reason for donating. If it was solely for defending 2A, maybe other groups have better records recently, but the NRA is still a general shooting advocate and does lobbying. In 3 years you'll just have to decide if you think they are worthy of receiving any more of your hard earned money
I'd rather donate money to an organization that advocates exclusively for 2A anyway. Even before I saw this, it seemed to me like they had been commandeered by the establishment Republican party.
Just focus on the one issue, bring Democrats that care about 2A into the tent - it's a much more effective advocacy that way.
When you have gun owners claiming to support the second amendment criticizing things like trigger discipline, and where they are pointing their guns, instead of those peoples valid fears for their life and their right to defend it, thats a big part of the problem.
And those type of soyfudds are the ones who are members of the NRA. Also, the NRA has zero interest in protecting the 2A, because as long as the 2A is in jeopardy, they will leverage your fear for revenue.
Remember that dragon movie where the guy and the dragon conspired to bilk villagers out of their money for him to slay the dragon?
Do you know the NRA was responsible for drafting, and testifying before congress in favor of, the mother of all gun control in the US, the 1934 NFA?
Do you see the big picture here?
The NRA was never intended to support the 2A. It was never it's original function. It was formed to teach yankees how to shoot after the civil war when they got their asses shot off by southerners. It then morphed into an elite good old boys club, then into a money making scam bigger than Amway. And 1934 wasn't the end of their treachery, and it still hasn't stopped. Their followers are like religious cultists and dumb as fuck.
PREACH. I feel retarded for all the hard-earned money I’ve given over the years thinking I was doing something meaningful. Come to find out I was just buying ol’ Wayne some new overpriced suits.
The only major gun rights battle the NRA won was making the 1934 NFA. The only skirmishes they have won were insignificant and fights they knew they could win. They have NEVER taken on a major gun rights case. They have basically abandoned CA, and any other state where gun laws are passed. But they will take your money.
Unpopular Opinion: The McCloskey's a limousine liberal lawyers in downtown St. Louis. They aren't NRA folks and they certainly aren't members. Should we be defending them? Or letting America see what happens when you believe liberal shit and vote liberal. I say give them the CHAZ treatment.
I'm not defending the NRA, we can judge them on their merits, but that doesn't mean we bail out ultra liberal lawyers who made their beds but don't want to sleep it in.
No need for the NRA to provide monetary support or anything. Just demonstrations of support for their right to defend themselves would be fair.
The McCloskeys are fellow Americans and they exercised their rights. We can disagree with them for any of their beliefs, but should still show support in cases like this. In court, a ruling can be used to set a precedent, so we should be defending them.
NRA are grifters. A laundry list of anti 2nd amendment legislation still needs to be removed and they haven't made a dent, despite all the donations flowing in.
Took you this long? Every since there was no push back on bumpstocks, I knew they were gunna NFA our asses again, so I went straight to GOA, SAF and got that lifetime
I quit when I realized they were just using California gun owners as examples to what can happen and fund raise off of. If NRA would aggressively fight in California it would stop the Commies fleeing from California back to the USA from screwing up the places they infect.
The nra is nothing but a lip servicing cock holster.
All they do is beg for money to "fight the fight" while not actually doing anything but giveaways and "vote for our buddy we know." If they really want to fight the good fight, they'd actively be in litigation in 50 states and federally. They'd be fighting to know why the HPA (hearing protection act) is dying in committee in the senate after passing in the house.
So, LaPenisbreath, stop sending the dumb letters of what nothing the NRA-ILA has done other then bitch about "dems are bad, angry face" and get off your fucking asses and save what little faith the public has in your organization.
Yes, I have sent them an email stating exactly that and all they did was send me more trash. I've started to mark it RTS and put it back in the box.
What does the NRA do again? Collect
Money, make commercials, send out shitty dollar store gifts, collect names and addresses of gun supporters. Maybe If the McClosky incident slowed gun sales then they would be all over it.
The NRA has done nothing here in Oregon since the post-Newtown onslaught began. They sat with their thumbs up their butts as lawmakers tried to turn us from one of the least restrictive into the next California. Every legislative session it’s a possibility. Luckily we have a great state gun rights org.
I haven’t seen them do much on the national level, either. They are good at taking donations, though.
NRA was started as a shooting club for Union soldiers because they sucked compared to the average Confederate.
NRA went through several phases from shooting club to gun law consultancy to anti-gun activism to pro-gun activism. At no point were they a constitutional rightsorganizsation.
Why people think the NRA is about protecting gun rights and the 2nd Amendment baffles me to this day...
The NRA was not founded as a gun rights or 2nd Amendment organization...
...never was one...never will be, and couldn't be one if it wanted to.
It was founded as a marksmanship and lobbying organization.
And it is also the most successful gun control organization in history:
1934 GCA, 1968 GCA and the Mulford Act of 1967 (California).
...and to make matters worse.
GOA, SAF and the various state affiliates of the NRA are no different.
They are also leftest organizations trying to undo a key value of Western Civilization:
"Concealment out and about in public in and of itself rises to the level of criminally suspicious behavior until further notice."
For over 600+ years, concealment in public has always been regulated by western civilization - whether it be one's identity, identity used in certification, permits, contracts and licenses, or the carrying of arms, etc.
The organizations noted above are trying to promote a regulated privilege ( concealed carry) above the natural exercise of the right (open carry) - and have been caught in court multiple times making the following argument:
"Open carry may be banned in favor of concealed carry."
They have done so in over a dozen suits before Federal District and Appellate Courts.
To educate yourself on the 2nd Amendment and the history treatment thereof:
Alan Gura and Alan Gottlieb wanted a concealed carry win in DC v. Heller, instead they got an Open Carry win from Scalia - and ever since have been trying to get concealed carry before SCOTUS over 13 times...denied cert each time.
All the parties that have been trying to get SCOTUS to change their minds that concealed carry is the right NOT open carry:
NRA
SAF < Alan Gottlieb
JPFO < Owned by SAF < Alan Gottlieb
GOA
USCCA
Calguns Foundation < NRA
Firearm Policy Coalition < NRA
CRPA < NRA
Maryland Shooters
...
Sadly many of your so-called "no compromise" state organizations turn out to almost always be NRA / SAF / GOA affiliates.
The truth is, there really is no true gun rights organization in the United States - they either don't exist or get co-opted the moment they get any traction.
I believe so. My ex brother-in-law left the NRA years ago for the same reasons and did mention to me about Gun Owners of America being better.
The NRA called me about 3 months ago to renew my membership and I told them to fuck off. Literally.
I hope you explained exactly why
Shills from China trying to take out the NRA?
Jump on the bandwagon you Douce Bags.
"Socialist Democrats" = Communists with fancy name label
Then donate to Calguns and realize that it's being used as a slush fund for an individual lawyer.
We are surrounded by thieves and looters.
Lmao. Calguns is worse than NRA.
NRA is shit dude, plenty of others actually fighting for us.
Add some examples and i will consider them. Do you know how many Thousands I am giving to the NRA and will give THOUSANDS MORE !!!!
Put some scandals down, anything.
Or i will tell you that Americans die every day so we don't live on our knees in a commie banker pedo gulag.
When i was at an NRA show, i found 3 operatives there tailing people.
I reported them to security. They had Beatles wigs on. So people are out gunning for the NRA.
There’s a mountain of reasons. Are you seriously acting like they are angels? How about the recent scandal of them rigging who gets voted in and takes care of la Pierre covered by Jared of guns and gadgets. Or the fact that they were fine with banning bump stocks? LoL, they are so big that what they can do with money is the best? What planet have you been living on for the last 3 decades???
They could, but they dont
NRA is gotten big and old. Now the members are more worried about cash flow and not making waves that disrupts the cash flow.
When is the last time they did something good with those donations?
Then get involved and work for change. Tearing down the NRA only helps the anti-gun position, there is no upside for us.
Waiting on that evidence. China is Asshoe.
? I gave an example in my post. The NRA fumbled the whole "semi-automatic weapons" propaganda campaign years ago.
A few "tOpMoDS" here are low IQ, aside from being total snowflakes with perpetually hurt feelings.
Yeah, I'm all for destroying the political advocacy group the Left hates the most.
Oh my god! My plastic rapid trigger puller accessory will be taken away from me!! I WILL BE DISARMED!! The 2nd Amendment is destroyed!
So sick of hearing the "bUt ItS a wOrThLesS aCcEsSory" argument from supposed freedom lovers. You sound like a cucked lib making the "but why do you need that" argument.

Can you provide a link to any action the GOA has taken in reference to the McCloskey's? I've been trying to find something, but haven't been able to.
How the fuck is that a strawman? OP literally is quitting NRA because of their silence about McCloskey's. Everybody on here is saying go to GOA, but I'm not seeing any action from them either. Was a legitimate question.
They went through a similar phase quite a while back and lost so much membership that they got their act together again. They need another smack down
This!!!! Confirmation they dont have my back.
GOA and SAF are my go-tos at this point.
NRA lost a lot of appeal for a fair number of supporters, since the NFA act in
19641934. They're accused of rolling over and not fighting against it.NFA - 1934
GCA - 1968
FOPA - 1986
AWB - 1994-2004
You are most likely referring to the 1986 MG ban (the infamous "Hughes" amendment) slipped into FOPA. (Which otherwise was a very good bill for us.)
Yes, NRA pretty much supported all of these except the AWB.
You have mentioned GOA and SAF. Good choices.
JPFO is interesting - but the anti-semites on here will REEEEEE!
I also like CalGuns foundation. They keep the fight alive deep within enemy lines - worth checking out.
Yep sure was - 1934 - got my dates wrong. Thanks for the correction
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Firearms_Act
Yeah, a fight to see who can swallow gun-controllers dick deeper.
Care to elaborate? It is Cali, after all.

Well, fuckin a then.
Thanks for the reply. I take it from your name that you may be well-versed in firearms rights.
No problem, my pleasure.

GOA, SAF and JPFO are three worth supporting.
There's also the RK (Roof Koreans), but they're an informal group.
We are all Roof Koreans in spirit.
What does JPFO stand for? I haven't heard of that one before.
Jews for the preservation of firearm ownership.
Thanks much.
Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership.
Thanks much.
i'd heard good things about the jpfo as well
If you don't like the NRA you should be working on getting them to change. Getting rid of the most recognized pro-gun group only benefits the anti-gun crowd. This position is the Soros position.
I agree. Change from within.
Again, they have to be doing something right if the left hates them so much. I swear, that NRA decal is to leftists as a crucifix is to vampires.
Both
Ditto!
This! NRA may not be perfect, especially right now, but they've done a lot to preserve our 2nd Amendment rights. Can we have Charlton Heston back?
If I was going to abandon something great because it was flawed?... the Left would have run me out of America long ago.
We have to fix the NRA, they have good lobbying infrastructure and know how to litigate.
Absolutely. As someone who watched Charlton Heston say those famous words in person--I will not abandon the NRA but I will not sit idly by either.
Admirable. I think the left is good at "cancel" solutions. We have more testicular fortitude.

I think that sums it up well - if they are not attacking they have been compromised - Look at Boy & Girl Scouts of America.
^agree, some wifes starting giving them a "talking to" after work and they all Soy'd up.
I suspect the NRA don't want to add fuel to the fire at this delicate juncture...there are already plenty of big 'names. supporting the McCloskeys..i.e Trump, Don Jr, the Governor, the AG..and us!! So they're in good hands. Don't need NRA.

I disagree. The time to be loud is now.
Such an opportunity to expand 2A rights too
DefundPolice, minority self-defense, suburban mom defense.am, the fruit is so ripe and they're just sitting there.
Yep that's what's crazy to me. Sooo many new gun owners of all backgrounds and the NRA isn't capitalizing on this.
Delicate juncture, my ass! If the NRA won't stand up now, then when will it?
Whites, blacks and all people in between are being hurt and killed by the blm and pantifa rioters right now.
Reckon if the NRA got involved now (with anything) it'd be overkill. 2A never been stronger; record gun sales, red pilling etc.
Normally, I'm all on board with this- but since Trump sent them here to Chicago two weeks ago, weekend shootings are dropping like crazy. ATF agents could be transitioned into any other federal agency with a better mandate - like Border Patrol.
Agreed
Did the NRA spend a dime in Virginia when the gun rights there were under attack? I don't think they did.
The NRA needs to have it's books audited and every penny accounted for.
The DC swamp suburbs did this to Virginia. We in real Virginia have no representation at all. Richmond obey their masters, the government employees in Northern Virginia.
This right here. Not to mention the massive influx of illegal and legal immigrants to those areas that almost always vote blue.
Yep, between the massive growth of the federal government, and the "refugee" and immigrant influx, our state has been decimated. We need to carve off Fairfax and maybe a couple other counties and give them to DC.

I hope that as well. They are criminals.
Can they have Philly too?
If you were from TX you'd blame Californians. Even tho they're on the border. Look at the electoral map of Texas that southern blue wall just keeps growing
Absolutely agree. Once you hit Fredericksburg you are in a different state. Where I live, you see BLACK PEOPLE with "don't tread on me" plates.
Hey now, I live in that swamp! You're right though, it has really gone downhill here in the past decades. If it's any consolation, I feel like I no longer have any representation either (not a government worker myself). My family moved to VA against their will, in 1740. 😁 It's really sad what has happened to such a great state in so short a time. I don't think there's any saving it now. Like you said, the swamp is too deep.
Correction: The Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) fucked up by letting 1 oit of every 5 races go uncontested.
The NRA isn't at fault for that. Thr RPV is a clueless mess that is happy to be in second place.
Now, with the Wuhan, they'll get their way.
They did https://www.nraila.org/articles/20191223/defend-freedom-join-us-january-13th
Red Flag, registration and licensing are all infringements on the 2nd Amendment.
SHALL NOT! No exceptions.
Try Gun Owner of America
gunowners.org/ LIFETIME MEMBER...much better
I'm a lifetime member of the NRA. They do still fight for gun rights, but you're right, as long as lapierre is in there, we will lose ground. We need the Nuge to overthrow that worthless asshole.
I can't stand being a member, they spam and constantly harass begging for more support. Every issue of their mags is based om imminent fear, immediate danger, silly shit. If they were better managed (more adult) they would appeal to a much larger and wealthier demographic. Unfortunately, my gun club requires membership, so I deal with it.
Gun owners of America!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_Owners_of_America
Thanks,
Too bad my club won't accept that.
Sad!
You should show them their website :)
It's the insurance, the NRA is their insurer.
Oh I see. Don't know anything about gun club rules.
NRA has been useless for a while. I recommend the following (as others have):
I saw alot of people that had issues with NRA keeping quite, during the protest in VA.
Support the Second Amendment Foundation, https://www.saf.org/. They are a group of lawyers that sue local and state governments that infringe on our 2nd amendment right.
GOA, 2A Foundation, VCDL (Virginia based)
Bump for the VCDL, a fine organization all VA pedes need to support.
Sending you warmest keks and love, pede.
^^^ This! It took a long time to get my membership card because of so many people joining last year (good news, yes?), and they're definitely focused on our 2A rights.
Well, if the city of San Francisco hates them so much they've declared them a terrorist organization, they must be doing something right. Right?
Being labeled a terrorist organization is like being labeled a racist. It simply is losing all significance at this point
Abolish NFA
OP's name checks out.
NRA are grifters. A laundry list of anti 2nd amendment legislation still needs to be removed and they haven't made a dent, despite all the donations flowing in.
Don’t just pull out of the NRA. Pull out of the NRA and put that money towards Gun Owners of America or Firearm Policy Coalition.
They’re actually doing great work towards securing and expanding our 2A to what it constitutionally should be.
Virginia's got the VCDL.
NRA has been a joke for some time now
Been out of the NRA for awhile too. Leftist infiltrated everything.
NAGR all the way, baby.
GOA is better IMO. Less overhead too.
GOA is easily much better.
GOA!
What does the NRA do again? Collect Money, make commercials, send out shitty dollar store gifts, collect names and addresses of gun supporters. Maybe If the McClosky incident slowed gun sales then they would be all over it.
I’m going to do the same. Thanks Pede for the intel.
GOA
All the NRA cares about is money and power for the NRA. Not real gun rights for any of us.
I withdrew all support of the NRA after the bumpstock fiasco. GOA or Firearms Policy Coalition is where it’s at, both if you can help it.
FUCK THE NRA. People are realizing they are just a bunch of grifters.
To educate yourself on the 2nd Amendment and the history treatment thereof:
https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/07pdf/07-290.pdf
That's DC v. Heller (2008)
=8-(
Yup, and Heller was argued by Second Amendment Foundation (not NRA) lawyer Alan Gura.
