Think of how stupid you'd have to be to fall for it in the first place.

They fall for it every fucking time. And the next time it happens, they'll call anything against the official narrative a "[debunked] conspiracy theory". Fucking blows my mind the lengths people go to keep their preferred little worldview secure.

Yep. Watch the Trayvon Martin Hoax.

  1. Blatantly lied/omitted that Trayvon beat the shit out of Zimmerman. (Self defense) Oh also Zimmerman is Hispanic and they called him white (for whatever that matters).
  2. Omitted all Trayvon’s drug use/criminal friends (In fact the skittles and Arizona tea he bought was to mix with codeine to get high— not a snack for his little brother)
  3. Media used pictures of Trayvon when he was a child when he was actually over 6 feet tall.
  4. The “audio” witness on the stand was a complete fake and his mother knew it. She was not Trayvon’s girlfriend and she was also mentally handicapped/slow (per school records, if I remember she was a 19 year-old high school sophomore). Poor girl couldn’t read and write yet they claim she wrote letter to Trayvon’s mom about what happened.

The documentary is incredible the lengths the left goes to in their deception.

And I'm worried they'll do it again for this George Floyd trial.

15
TonyGucciano 15 points ago +15 / -0

They're not falling for it. They're using it against you as a weapon. Nothing matters as long as they destroy you, your culture and your values.

DittoHead 3 points ago +3 / -0

I wish Trump would do some sort of Oval Office address featuring this video and showing America how much the media lies to them.

103
FlaviusOdo 103 points ago +103 / -0

Theory: many of those people willing to acknowledge they were lied to never truly believed the story but went with it due to the consequences of not going with the story. The body am footage is their out.

61
deanieboi [S] 61 points ago +61 / -0

I could definitely see that being the case. In a world where not supporting BLM can literally get you killed (HER NAME WAS JESSICA DOTY WHITAKER) I can see why people would do that.

31
TuckerCarlsonsTie 31 points ago +31 / -0

Many of those people that felt “lied to” still believe politicians don’t lie and the Mainstream Media tells them the truth. However, these are the same people that will wear a mask even after reading a warning label on a box of masks in Wal-Mart and realize they can still get the Woo-Ping Cough despite wearing a mask. But yeah, continue to tell me about “MuH pRiViLeGe and GeOrGe FlOyD” and just not how insanely naive and childish you are.

15
Seruna_Kanus 15 points ago +15 / -0

I fell for it. I questioned it. Hell I even pitched a few radicals way back when about how or why the 8 minutes of kneeling went on. After seeing this footage and knowing what a drug induced panic can do to a person, I've come to realize the truth was a lot simpler yet still profound.

14
OranjeBlanjeBlou 14 points ago +14 / -0

This realization will not matter unless it changes your mindset. If each future case still has you go “well yeah the cop is a piece of shit” before you see evidence otherwise, then this realization accomplished nothing.

The change we all need to make is that, in every BLM-pushed case, we start with the assumption that the “poor innocent victim,” likely died because of his own criminal actions and not racism.

11
congruent 11 points ago +11 / -0

I'm initiating the Ann Coulter Corollary:

the longer it takes the news media to release the body cam footage the less likely likely it is to fit the narrative.

4
CuomoisaMassMurderer 4 points ago +5 / -1

Gotta do better than that even. Start with no assumption at all. Let the facts speak for themselves. Until they become clear, don't let the maddening crowd dictate anything.

It's possible.

xBigCoffinHunter 74 points ago +75 / -1

I fell for it initially. Cop kneeling on his neck, he’s saying he can’t breath and specifically talking about the knee on his neck. What wasn’t to fall for? That shit was brutal. Then of course other video comes out showing he was already in a bad way, his autopsy shows he was high as a kite. When they didn’t release body cam footage within a week or two I knew it was bullshit.

34
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 34 points ago +35 / -1

Maybe the part where he's moving his head around looking around while apparently being suffocated?

27
stratocaster_patriot 27 points ago +29 / -2

Or yelling that he can't breathe. We all know that means you can breathe very well. Or we should.

21
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 21 points ago +23 / -2

That's like saying "I can't talk!"

6
BeBest 6 points ago +7 / -1

If you can talk, you can breathe!

-aerobics instructors everywhere

-10
CuomoisaMassMurderer -10 points ago +1 / -11

You only say that because you've never suffered with breathing difficulties. It's the dumbest conclusion you could ever draw.

Your lungs go from almost your collarbone to almost your hip. Human lungs are HUGE. The capacity for suffering before you die is immense.

It's not some light switch you flip where can't breathe = can't talk, or dead.

33
wumao 33 points ago +37 / -4

Nono, it still looks brutal. Doesn't matter what the body cam shoes, it's objectively not a good look.

HOWEVER

that does not mean the cops are wrong.. I disagree with many videos of how cops handle situation, but I acknowledge that they are ultimately in the right. Optics are still bad, but reality is they are correct.

Next time something like this happens, you can still agree that the cop looked bad doing what he did, but you will withhold judgement until the bodycams come out.

That said,

mandatory release of bodycam videos 24 hours after ALL arrests should be a new law so this doesn't happen again.

Where you at Don Jr.. I know you're lurking!!!

26
stratocaster_patriot 26 points ago +29 / -3

I don't think it looks bad at all. He was being subdued in about the only way left to the cops to do it. I think what looks really bad is people deifying a man whose entire life was a miserable piece of shit.

Crockett 3 points ago +3 / -0

By this footage, they were quite reasonable given the premise that they had to subdue him. What's not clear from any of this is why they had to subdue him. He was clearly either tripping or actually crazy. In either case he was getting agitated by the police presence. That's not an excuse, but it's also not obviously a reason to cuff him and bring him in.

What was the stated reason for getting him out of his car in the first place? Impaired driving, probably? In which case I guess detaining him is normal.

-6
CuomoisaMassMurderer -6 points ago +1 / -7

There was no need to keep a knee on his neck that long, after he lost consciousness, and likely after he died. "Only way to subdue him"my ass.

Nothing about this new footage adds any new information. We knew he was way over the OD level. We knew he resisted, and freaked out.

No reason not to factor all that in, months ago.

9
TheGazaStripper 9 points ago +9 / -0

Ok, scrub to @3:40:15 Big flash of white....and boom, the time stamp jumps. Why? The full time stamp NEVER shows from that point forward so we have no way of knowing how far forward they skipped. What’s missing is the interactions between Floyd and the officers while he is seated against the wall. Why can’t we see the actual time stamp of the original clip but only the time stamp of the camera recording the screen playing the clip? We are missing something VERY important.

5
wumao 5 points ago +5 / -0

Can you link the video? There are different videos with different durations, so I can't refer to the timestamp you mentioned. I'm intrigued though. Interesting observatioh=n.

2
Savage2000 2 points ago +2 / -0

That’s how tptb creates division. They only show the narrative piece by piece. Without full context, people react only to what shown.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

The full bodycam video is likely hours long. This video tells us nothing that wasn't available months ago.

5
JimmyJam 5 points ago +5 / -0

all of this will cause more deaths - if cops are afraid to use force to get a situation under control those situations are likely to escalate to the need for deadly force. Weak cops, or cops that are not allowed to use proper physical restraint to force compliance create a danger to society.

4
keeponwinning 4 points ago +6 / -2

Subduing people is never going to look friendly. The cloistered folks in the suburbs, the people for whom the closest they've ever been to real shit is running late on a library book or getting a speeding ticket and wondering if they're going to get shot because of something they saw on youtube, an officer escalating up the force matrix on a suspect resisting arrest is going to look terrible to them. It's going to look terrible because they have no real world experiences upon which to draw, upon which to think and evaluate the need for an officer to act in this manner for their safety and the public's safety.

stratocaster_patriot 23 points ago +24 / -1

What wasn’t to fall for?

I don't know man. All I had to do was think about it for a second and it didn't add up. Maybe it's because I start from the premise that cops don't put on their badge every day to go kill black people. So many people actually believe that horseshit and they take it from there. I didn't believe it for a second.

20
Watermaker67 20 points ago +21 / -1

Yup. My wife (who is a paralegal) saw the video and immediately said, “So how did he get put on the ground? Cops don’t put you on the ground for nothing.”

My wife...she’s purty smart.

Remember folks, police are called first responders for a reason - they RESPOND. Act a fool and don’t be surprised if they manhandle you a bit. Comply, don’t die.

13
Haitianbychoice360 13 points ago +14 / -1

Comply, Don't Die. Great slogan. If BLM REALLY cared about black lives (which we all know they don't) they would spread this far and wide. But in reality they WANT more idiots to not comply so they can look for excuses to spark a race war and spread their communist agenda.

6
krzyzowiec 6 points ago +7 / -1

Your wife is smart. That was my first thought as well. I knew there had to be some escalation to get to that point, and there was no video of what happened prior, so I was immediately skeptical and waiting for more evidence. I got a lot of hate from people here for it, but I'm fine with that.

7
TuckerCarlsonsTie 7 points ago +7 / -0

Ahhh, so you’re saying you believed your eyes deceived you? Careful, that could be bigoted considering you used logic and reason to deduce that the outcome you saw had contributing factors that led to the ending. We used to call those things evidence and facts and wait to pass judgment on a final conclusion, but nope, emotions, misleading edits, and unreleased visual angles whip people into a frenzy ready to vacate Officer Chauvin’s life. We no longer work from presumed innocence, instead, it’s assumed guilt in the court of public opinion. I, too, did not believe the horseshit from the beginning. Narrow vantage point, narrow explanation of what happened, and catchy line to whip people into a frenzy? Too perfect for propaganda, in general, means too good to be true.

22
deanieboi [S] 22 points ago +22 / -0

Same here. Leftists saw the horrific picture, and spread it far and wide to make people are scared as possible.

It's like in the old south, when lynchings were still a thing, whenever they lynched a black man they would leave the body hanging for days to keep people scared. That's exactly what they did with George Floyd. They left the body hanging for as long as possible to scare as many people as possible.

TDWIN2020 7 points ago +10 / -3

Am I the only one here who thinks that after the dude was clearly unconscious, the cop should have tried to resuscitate him? Or at least get his knee off of his neck? And before that, the rookie said they should flip him on his side to calm him down. It’s the cop’s job to TRY to keep the perp alive.

3
krzyzowiec 3 points ago +7 / -4

Chauvin responded that he's on his stomach because they were concerned about excited delirium. The knee on his neck didn't do any harm, and they were waiting for EMS, who can actually do something useful for him. I think people just get really emotional over nothing.

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Where / when did you hear Chauvin mention EXD? What video? Timestamp?

That should be enough to clear him, if it was before GF passed out.

3
TDWIN2020 3 points ago +4 / -1

Go look up how to physically constrain someone with excited delirium. The top things to avoid are the PRONE POSITION and pressure on the neck. So stop talking out of your ass.

2
HyperCarbs 2 points ago +5 / -3

They are cops, not medical professionals.

0
TDWIN2020 0 points ago +1 / -1

That’s a bullshit excuse. I almost always am on the cop’s side with these incidents. And I’m not saying they should be convicted of murder. But it is the cops job as a first responder to know what they are doing, and how to react in a situation that is common enough to have a name and a medical diagnosis.

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +2 / -0

You're not the only one. You can tell a person you've been struggling with is losing consciousness before they do. Chauvin knew there was nothing to restrain. What we don't know is how much force was on either knee; it's possible all his weight was on his toes.

This is not at all an easy trial. Would GF have died anyway, even with no Police contact? That's basically what we're expecting a jury to determine, and it's impossible to know.

In terms of duty to try to resuscitate, all that has changed for cops in at least some jurisdictions. Since they had called EMTs, it's possible they were instructed not to try that. What we really need from the bodycam footage is to hear if the cops were talking about EXD. If they were, they did everything right. The whole footage is probably hours long. What we have here is meaningless, it has 0 new information.
