I suspect this case will drag out for at least 4-5 years when this calm down. The officers will probably not be charged with murder but the impact of that decision should be reduced when the country focuses on another issue.

Exonerated AGAIN. He’d been exonerated years ago. The case was secretly reopened by the DA. He ran on reopening the case, and even with him looking for any damn reason to charge the cop, he couldn’t find anything.

Injured, arrested, hospitalized, etc., but her little kid had also been there with her and had to be cared for by the police till someone authorized to take custody of him could come. The cop apparently suggested they go sit in the police car, get an ice cream, do something not too terrible-sounding to entertain him, and the kid looked at the cop and said, "You mean you aren't going to steal the change out of my hand?"

I know what you mean but honestly I can understand it. He’s in control in his car. In the back of a police car, he’s trapped (doors don’t open from the inside, divider between front and back) and not in control of the vehicle. I can see why that would trigger claustrophobia while driving his own wouldn’t.
When he said he was claustrophobic I thought "But dude, you just came from the inside of a smaller car."

The video suggests that Floyd might have ingested a lethal quantity of some illegal substance(s). When he saw the police approaching his vehicle, he may have panicked because he had drugs on him, so he ingested them all at once. It would explain his unusual paranoia, as well as stating, "I can't breathe...I'm claustrophobic," etc. He might have panicked because he knew he overdosed and he couldn't admit it because it would be a parole violation.

He had 4x the average lethal dose of fentanyl in his system. The heart attack may have been what got him in the end, but he was a dead man walking regardless.
That's not how opiates work. There is no universal lethal dosage. It's based on many factors and people build up tolerances. Lethal dose for you, might not even be enough for an addict like him to be upright and functional.
