While cops kneel before angry rioters, show extreme restraint and still get demonized. I don’t understand how any good officer could justify “just doing my job” to shut this PEACEFUL worship service down.
Muh I need to support my family doesn’t cut it for me when your job gives you extreme privileges over the citizenry and those privileges are granted by the citizenry. The thing is that a vast majority believe police provide an critical role in society and that role has become even more corrupt over the years. This is not new - see battle of Athens. I believe the core of the issue is that good police are not holding bad police accountable - job hoping etc.

Exactly. Cops are on the same level as everyone else for me. Distrust until proven otherwise.
If we watched the Barr hearing, I'm sure all of the Democrats will be coming to the aid of these peaceful protesters. Right? /s
