My local catedral (catholic) refuses to open. I spoke to the archbishop and he informed me his duty is with the local authorities not with the parishioners.
I informed him I will not be donating any more money and me and my family are transitioning to the Orthodox Catholic church.
Leaving the church isn't the solution. Poor leadership doesn't make the faith itself any less authentic. I still don't blame you for leaving, though, this is pathetic.
Meanwhile the pastor at my church is busy talking to teens about racial inequality...
