Ammonium Nitrate makes white or light grey smoke. HMX which is a rocket fuel apparently makes that reddish brown smoke you can see before the big boom. Speculation is that it was a Hamas weapons depot with Iranian munitions.
My opinion is this was publicly jumping the gun. And obviously, Lebanon is currently conducting an investigation on top of that, so either fact or speculation could be damaging.
Another irksome thing today was the Trump campaign sending out emails urging people to wear masks. That definitely rubbed me the wrong way, because we need to be going the opposite direction.
