I mean, yes, this is fucked up. But the last thing I would've done, I think, is put my knee on someone's throat who was claiming to not be able to breathe. I like life and my money and that's a recipe for jail or a lawsuit either way.

It's always good to hear from someone who doesn't have to deal with drugged up, semi-psycho, muscle bound, physical men in shitholes with massive crime rates and deal with people that might not even speak the same language, every fucking day as part of their job. Or might just get shot dead going on a domestic violence call. Yeah, no need at all to maintain control of the situation. Thanks for your input, Lord Fluffington.
Floyd was experiencing a drug-induced shitfit. They had to hold him down until EMT's got on scene. Not being able to breathe was him experiencing either respiratory or heart failure (not enough oxygenated blood to brain) from the fentanyl coupled with the delirium of being high on meth.
if there was no restraint done on his body and George still died, the MSM would still paint the racist and police brutality angle narrative and claim that the reason George died is that police don't want to perform their duties well when it comes to black men.
Chauvin had his body cam on, he also followed department procedures performing the restraint(which has always worked).there was nothing brutal or racial about the incident; it was just that we judged Chauvin too early without looking for important details.
If they had a straight jacket to put him in he still would've died.
In cities the next thing they would do after pinning the crazed drug fiend to the ground is to hog tie them with all the handcuffs they can find and then lift him into the back of a wagon. Saw this in New York last year.
