I think he has to do something there are a lot of people hurting..I personally know a family member who just lost the enhanced unemployment benefit but won't make it another couple of weeks with out it for now..so someone has to do something until people could get their jobs back with enough hours to live..some employers are taking employees back but cutting hours significantly..because their businesses are not fully operational..so either way the employee is suffering right now also.
And they're hurting through no fault of their own, many people want to start getting life back to normal (accepting distancing and masks) but Dem politicians and the media would rather see 80% unemployment if it means Drumpf loses.
But the crazy thing is that the worse the economy gets, the more people believe Trump is the only one who can do it again and get us out of this mess. Biden? Democrats? Taxes and more taxes!
He puts it out there, knowing it’s a good PR play that is a net negative for Dims. If they don’t play ball now, he has to go around them. If they try to oppose him on the EO in the courts, it will be a two sentence EO that only includes this and he can campaign on them opposed to it.

When the housing market crashed we got no bailout. The fucking banks did. We STILL are financially under water since then so I think Americans who have lost their jobs due to this plandemic DESERVE the money! I dont mind bailing hard working americans a few more months!

The best part is that Dems will sue the administration to stop unemployment checks. That might not play so well in an election year.
