I became a Christian and she didn't want anything to do with it. It became clear we were just walking too different paths to continue together.

I assume you’re younger - under 25/27? I didn’t get married until MUCH later in life and now am incredibly happy. Something similar happened to me around that age but the opposite. I was the one not equally yoked as the Godly woman I’d fallen for and she ended it with me. It took me a while to come around.

I know that your heart hurts and feels so much more when you are younger. Crazy as it sounds- embrace the heartbreak. Work thru it. As you age, you mellow and don’t have that burning life or death passion any more in pursuing romantic love. Don’t get me wrong - there is still love and passion and romance. But that kind of desperate yearning and raw emotion is so much more intense for a younger man. Older You will look back at this time and appreciate the growth and experience it helped you gain.
