If you ever go to Ireland, there is a famine museum on the road to Dingle. There is absolutely no comparison between Irish history and African American history. During the famine, many poor Irish people died. The elite class used the famine to get rid of the poor. The peasants in Ireland were mass evicted (much higher number than african slaves) and shipped on Canadian lumberships to America. The ships were not designed for people, and many died. Then they were not allowed off of the ships because they were not wanted, and many died. When they were let off the ships, they were refused employment and many died. The only job they could seem to find was fighting wars for others, where many died.
Tldr; the Irish were treated much worse in greater numbers than African Americans and have contributed much more to America overall.
