Back in 2nd and 3rd grade, they were in the middle of teaching cursive, and then they just slowly stopped and never finished it, the only thing I can write in cursive is my first and last name, the education system fucked up.
And phonics.
They want them to swallow the meaning of a word whole without learning how to break things down into components.
