Make sure you're behind a VPN or a firewall the protects your identity, they can track the IP addresses of visitors. Given their untracked billion in donations it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to consider they could send a 'thank you' to your house.

A firewall doesn't protect your identity at all, and knowing your IP would be useless for them.

But use a VPN just in case. On my laptop I use Opera browser which has an integrated VPN.

Watch out pede --

  • Opera is owned by the Chinese now. -If they know your IP address and have deep roots in the government, presumably they could subpoena who was assigned the IP at the time for some reason...

It would be a real shame if some used tor for this.

Even Tor could be unsafe though. The entry node you're using could be a honeypot.
