Bullying made us all stronger. because it was our first introduction to the fact that life isn't fair, and that your parents aren't going to run interference for you forever.

And over time, the less bullying there was, the more people starting crying about being bullied.

Thus lowering the bar for what constistutes "bullying" to the point that me eating a burrito minding my own business sends you into a tailspin of butthurt.

It was the MAGA hats being worn. I don't see how more people don't realize this, theres even a screenshot of OP and his friend after the attack.

It had absolutely nothing to do with the mask, that was just the excuse. It's also why the girl mentions Trump in the audio.

It was a politically motivated attack, plain and simple.

Yeah, I just wish the wonderful 1st lady hadn't made her entire thing about bullying and be best. Kinda plays into this narrative.

We need James Cameron to raise the bar

27 year old here.

When I was a kid, I was bullied pretty badly. Bullies always skirted just along the line of what they could get away with, and I never fought back because the school made it clear that getting into a fight would get you in trouble, even if you weren't the aggressor.

We need to change the school policies on bullying. If a kid starts shit, then the other kids who stop shit shouldn't be getting in trouble. The kids that bully need to learn that their actions will have consequences, and the kids getting bullied need to learn that in the end the one who's most responsible for their safety is themselves. It's an important lesson on both counts.

Part of the reason schools punish the victim if they fight back as well as the aggressor is because quite often the aggressors are African American kids.

I was a school with literally 0 blacks. I was constantly on the receiving end of this practice through 7th8th grade when the bullying started getting really bad until i stopped standing up for myself.

This practice is by design by the commies in academia to intentionally create unstable kids who have no faith in their parents or school staff so they bottle it up until they take matters into their own hands, which then in turn gives them an excuse to try to disarm the population. They jump on this every time before the bodies are even cold. The BS is so obvious by now

Here in Arizona, it was always the kids from Mexico and Central America.

The South American immigrants always seemed pretty chill, strangely enough.

I've never learned to fist fight as a result of policies like that, which I feel is almost by design. Dems don't want people to be able to fight back in ANY way, not even with your hands. Guess it'll be nothing but gunfights for me if shit were to pop off.

Read my last comment about this. It is by design

That's why I took boxing classes when I was 18.

... I should get back on top of that, honestly.

Wow that's messed up. In my day you didn't get in trouble for defending yourself. My dad told me that if it was self-defense that no matter what happened he would have my back. Different world.

CashMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh, my dad told me he'd have my back too as long as I didn't start it.

I was just terrified of getting in trouble with the school for some reason as a kid.

When I went to school, I fought back constantly. They would try punishing me, not the aggressor. I would just leave the school when they told me to go to the principal.

I don't actually think we ever got desensitized. I think over reactions is just a staple in our society today. Less or it or more, the reaction should be the same.

Can we bring back fat shaming? Saves lives and lowers insurance premiums. Win win

Absolutely. As a lady pede, land whales are major affront to society.

As a dude in the south, I've had far more than my fill of effing fatties everywhere. They look at you like you're satan incarnate if you say something about fatness being a vice/ condemn their lifestyle. Thankfully, I don't care about what they think of me... they've proven that they can't even control their life so they can't dictate how I should live mine.

Can we get fatpeoplehate.win spun up please?

I am quite good friends with a guy who bullied me when i was a skinny little 11 year old many many moons ago. He toughened me up and when i finally got the balls to stand up to him i helped him become a normal functioning adolescent. We have been friends ever since. I owe him a debt of gratitude along with my parents who never let anyone but myself handle the issue.

I think that's unique to men. Female bullies never make friends with their victims. My bullies are now dead crack whores who got knocked up at 15. Living well is the best revenge.

baconandolives 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can confirm. My bullies were mostly kids of illegal immigrants with a chip on their shoulder who I suspect didn't end up well. You always could tell who wouldn't.

Yes and no.

I was one of the people who got bullied a lot by people in school back then, which was only about 10 years ago now. I'm a part of this generation and know it well.

You're not wrong about how getting bullied can build character, but in my opinion, one part of the problem is that a lot of these people who claim to be SJW's, BLM activists, etc., were in fact THE BULLIES that picked on and intimdated the rest of us into doing and thinking things their way. They only knew to hide their true intentions well through the thin veil that is virtue signaling and living a double life on social media. Making parents turn a blind eye.

It's the fact that they never had any other kids or adults who were higher above the food chain back then to beat them up in return or set them straight. Due to reasons I already stated.

As a result, they turned into a pack of ravenous wolves now. Even cannibalistic at times with how they go after others in their own circle.

I have a friend who's 55 years old who was bullied as a kid and hates Trump because he says he's a bully. Do these people EVER grow up and get over it?? The emotional instability of the left is really frustrating.
