I practice jiu jitsu and knee-on-neck (back of the neck) doesn't cause a choke. AT ALL. It's uncomfortable, sure. It immobilizes you, yes. But, it isn't an air or blood choke. At most, it's sort of a neck crank, and even that's stretching the definition of a neck crank.
