Perfect answer - not an endorsement, and if it comes out that Kayne is a wackjob or is punching Kim in the face or eating babies, he's got a perfect out - "He was nice to me when i met him, no clue what he does the rest of the time."
Kanye really is a good dude... I'm a huge fan of his music, always have been. Let me put it this way...
Never in a street gang.
Never sold drugs
Never seen at night clubs
Never been arrested
Never in and out of rehab
Never MeToo-ed
No Epstein connection,
Etc..
No guns, no violence, no glorification of gangs, no womanizing...
His albums are all about going to church, loving your mother, starting a family, raising your children, and working hard. Later he would talk about his struggles with bipolar disorder and how mean the media is to him.
He dropped out of college and started his own production company and grew it from the ground up until he was selling beats to Jay Z. He then talked his way into having the label release his solo albums. Every album was a number one gold hit on release and he has like 14 grammy awards.
He studied architecture for fun to understand how his music would sound in giant arenas so his concerts would be better and eventually he was given an honorary Doctorate from the art school in Chicago. So hes Dr West, now.
When his mother passed away he lobbied to get the Donda West law passed that would hold surgeons responsible for taking on at-risk patients.
He went on to design clothes and shoes, and hes been active in giving his clothes away to people in need. He donated in secret for BLM... which I dont love, but the point is that he did it because he believes in the cause, not because he wanted publicity.
And recently hes started basically his own church to use his fame to get people to hear the message and potentually turn their lives around.
Again, all without getting in trouble.
His worst crime? Saying dumb shit.
But even then, he says a lot of great shit that never makes the news. For example, at a speech he gave at Harvard he said:
"People in America will pay $5000 for a sweater, no piece of clothing should cost $5000. You know what should cost $5000? A car. And you know who should make that car? The same people currently making $500,000 cars. Why? Because the best and most talented among us should strive to do the work that benefits the most amount of people; for what good is everything to everyone who doesn't have access to it".
When he posted that shit about slavery being a choice, (which he never actually said... that was the media's quote) he said something like..
Of course I understand the struggles and pain of my ancestors, but they went through all of that so that I could be born here, today, a free man. To not take appreciate and take advantage of that would be a disgrace them. They could only dream of the opportunities we have today. I'm suppose to believe I'm a victim, but im not a victim im a victor and everyone hates me for it.
And dont even get me started on the positive shit in his lyrics or him and Kim's work on freeing prisoners and prison reform.
Ask me 15 years ago what I thought about Kanye, after watching him interrupt a stunned Mike Myers by shouting, "George Bush doesn't care about black people!," at the hurricane Katrina relief concert, and I'd have said I'll never support this guy. Later, after his interruption of Taylor Swift, I'd have told you for once I agree with Obama when he responded "[Kanye's] an ass."
Now? I honestly think that, after Trump, he may be the man who can save America.

Trump is a pro at this kind of thing.
