With no chain of custody, it's very easy for certain ballots to disappear. It's also how other certain ballots are magically found in the trunks of cars and in the back closets of poll workers' homes whenever there's a close race.
The real solution is to demand actual walk-in polling places, VOTER ID, and a whole lot of watching by a whole lot of people with cameras so that the chain of custody is 100% accounted for.
We must demand these things. We'll never get them otherwise.

finally, make absolutely certain that hand delivery is done at least 2 and preferably 3-5 working days prior to Election day.
Those received closer are the last to be sorted, verified, and (maybe) counted.
post voting, go online and keep checking for acknowledgement of receipt, then verification, then tabulated.
If you see nothing in 5 days START CALLING YOUR RoV.
This is as good as we get here on trying to make sure your ballot is at least in the pile verified. Actually counted and properly tabulated? Not so much. But good luck getting any accountability. 😕
