The ones that burned their bras, harangued women for staying in their "slavery" marriages, substituted contraception for good morality and abortion for self restraint. The ones that caused out streets to be flooded with drugs, derelicts and disappointment. The ones that mocked, belittled and dismissed men in trades, first responders and truck drivers. These are the Boomers we can't stand. They are the ones who think the entire world revolve around them and preached all sorts of high flutin' rhetoric but had not an ounce of human sympathy or compassion. They learned the wrong life lesson from every experience and then taught the same erroneous lessons to everyone they came into contact with and thought their errors made them smart.
In short, the Boomer generation probably is the worst generation because they spent half their life rebelling against what their parents taught them and the other half defending their rebellion.
Our World War II vets are slowly fading away. There was a time in my life where World War I vets still graced this earth and then one day, they were all gone. This time is coming sooner than you think for our World War II heroes, take the time to appreciate them because time slips away fast.
About 10 years ago there were many/multiple articles written about 10,000 WW2 vets passing away every day. That was 10 years ago. This guy has to be one of our last great heroes. And for those WW2 vets still around. This website is indebted to you.
