I saw this pointed out in the other thread and I thought it was a great point - This guy is being wrongfully terminated on behalf of the public and now the public has to pay for it.

I think people knew what was going on and how it would play out before the termination even happened.

Perhaps next time the public will vote for better prosecutors and mayors. Until then, they deserve to bear the cost.

I thin the resignation and prohibition from future all political office for those responsible for his firing are a fair addition to the amount that will be awarded to the officer.

Exactly, those that break these laws are not punished. Everyone else is punished.

I hope he never has to work again after winning. What a hatchet job the whole thing was. Paul Howard the DA is a criminal, as bad or worse than that clown Ellison in Minneapolis.

Rolfe was charged with felony murder and 10 other offenses over the shooting death of the unarmed father-of-four.

FUCK. OFF. He stole his taser and fired it at him. HE WAS NOT UNARMED. Eat a bag of dicks for spreading this fake news, Daily Fail!

This is actually super common for LEO's. They terminate the cop over controversial issues which are usually politically motivated regardless of whether it was lawful/justifiable. In most cases the cop gets his job back and wins a ton of money but politicians don't care, it's not their money.

This guy is going to make a shit load of money off this case because he is absolutely right and it was a good shooting (lawful).

I’m pretty sure $50m would be a great judgement.

I don't understand how there's any cops still willing to work in Atlanta.

I’m glad this is coming from the UK. USA Marxist scared to get a beating from the overlords for even hinting at another side.
