I agree I'm horribly disappointed a few anqueefas were allowed to destroy the 1A. Ironic because they use that as the cover for their crimes.
When you call your show "louder," you're kinda inviting people to prove you wrong by being louder than you. Were cops called? Would they have defended 1A rights? Boombox guy stated he not only disagreed with the message but thought it was dangerous. He admitted he was trampling on their 1A rights.
Did Crowder have a permit? If no maybe Police could do nothing? Public nuisance laws for 2 noisy people vs a crowd that wants to talk?
If there is no legal remedy maybe it was best to pack up and go, having made the point. Dead AK guy was a clear cut case of self defense. That's still the Official version?
Other remedies are obvious. Kick out the knees of the big guy, there solely to be intimidating. Microphone in the mouth of boombox guy. We've seen a motorcycle is easy to take out. Maybe not the way to go in this particular instance, but it would be more immediately satisfying for those not criminally charged.
Open carry rifles wouldn't have changed a thing, IMHO. Unless there were an additional 10 people there, then they wouldn't have hurt anything either. But wouldn't have removed the noise.
