Honestly dont think we will. America has a spending problem that it only cares about when the other party is in charge. Maybe if Rand somehow wakes up in the WH some day. I just dont think any president is confident enough to bet that cutting the deficit would help them win reelection more than spending money on more 'exciting' projects would imho.

Not sure if its confidence or just prioritizing goals. A lot of "free" shit has got to go before we can even think about seriously balancing the budget. Trump made some great gestures by placing stricter requirements on welfare recipients, while also boosting jobs.
