I'd be keen not to visit, not based on the owner being black, but on their willingness to shill for this. I don't care what color you are as long as I like your product. By putting race as a selling point just screams racism to me. In a world where everyone is like, "Support me, I'm white", "Support me, I'm Asian", sounds so asinine.

This is my exact thought. What I do, I do because I'm good at it, and I enjoy it. People come back to me because of the quality of my services. If people came back to me because I was "The black option," I would take that as an insult to my abilities.
I use to my advantage I put women led black owned been on top for my business for awhile and now since it's black owned they will rank me even higher. I suggest everyone utilize this if they have a business. They will eventually remove it if enough abuse happens

This has already been a thing forever with "Women Owned Businesses". Men put their wives, or a female in sr mgmt as the "owner" of the business, but then things continue to operate as before. It's all pretend. What a joke.
