I'd be keen not to visit, not based on the owner being black, but on their willingness to shill for this. I don't care what color you are as long as I like your product. By putting race as a selling point just screams racism to me. In a world where everyone is like, "Support me, I'm white", "Support me, I'm Asian", sounds so asinine.
We are fast approaching a race based society, and I don't think any of these people are ready for what will come from that.
This is my exact thought. What I do, I do because I'm good at it, and I enjoy it. People come back to me because of the quality of my services. If people came back to me because I was "The black option," I would take that as an insult to my abilities.
