My wife had spine surgery at the start of March before the whole Covid Panic started. The surgery left her paralyzed.
As the Covid Panic kicked in, she was kicked out of the hospital, not allowed into a rehab center, and not given any of the necessary follow up care for her condition.
For two months, the doctors would only see her via Zoom with a single emergency MRI of the surgery.
In the last few weeks we found out that the hospital didn't give her the right rehab, the right follow up care, and completely missed in April that she needs surgery so she can walk again. The longer she goes without the surgery, the higher the chances of the paralysis being permanent!
Over this entire period, we have been in and out of hospitals dealing with this nightmare. I have not found ONE doctor who thinks that this is real. All of them, when not with patients, sit around without masks laughing and talking with each other over lunch and in breaks.
Doctors do not take this seriously. Neither should WE!
These hospitals and governments are fools being led around by the media, and it is causing REAL world problems for people.
PS - I have never really thought about taking anyone to court until now. I would appreciate any tips on how I can take these doctors and hospitals for everything that they have!
Heck, if Antifa can take the city of Seatle to court to get riot gear, then my wife should get millions for being crippled!
sorry to hear of this. Unfortunately, many people in the medical field have a healthy fear of germs. There is also a hierarchial structure w/ administration and protocols designed to put patients and medicines into boxes.
As a result, many docs are more likely to be wary of covid and less likely to question the prevaiing wisdom of WHO and the CDC.
Hope your wife gets better. FWIW, I know of several people who had cancer and had their surgeries delayed for 2-3 months due to COVID... There's a lot hidden cost to this flattening the curve.
