Seeing a lot of people saying they don't care what happens to the NRA. This is remarkably short-sighted. Republicans and conservatives have been losing the culture war little by little for years. There are nearly no political organizations on the middle/right of the political spectrum that have any power whatsoever. The NRA is far from perfect but make no mistake, they are attacking the NRA to get to conservatives and people with conservative values. This is all about getting their base activated. They activated their black voters, they have their LGBTQAFSAKSRKA base and now they need to give their anti gun base some love. It's that simple.

This isn’t SDNY doing this. It’s the NY State Attorney General.
She wants the headline that she busted up the NRA for when she runs for Governor or US Senate.
Even if the NYAG is successful, and it’s clear she has nothing or she would have filed criminal charges, another org will step in and Gun owners will flow to that.
I was never happy about the NRA being seen as the only name when it comes to the 2nd amendment. Competition is healthy.
