People are fed up with the Republican establishment - I know several people who are happily voting for Trump even though they are disgusted and disappointed by the party as a whole. I think new entrants to the ring are realizing this, so they campaign as Trump supporters. Whether or not that's lip service, whether or not they'll suck up to big money and become part of the swamp when they get into Congress, who knows.
