I dont believe this.

If the DNC had any plan to do something like this, it woupd have been done earlier this year.

We are too close to the election. Less than three months. If the DNC were to pull something like this, it would through the entire thing into disarray, create cobfusion, and just further solidify the corruption of the DNC in the minds of the people.

Pulling a move like that would just piss off democrat moderates and Biden supporters.

Even now, people like the Warren camp and others are launching campaigns to support Biden.

Biden is their guy. If that changes in the next 90 days, the stability of their entire election effort gets thrown away.

Well, we know that his supporters have the energy of snails and sloths but they are out there. People voted for him in the primaries.

Pulling a move to replace Biden would just upset them and erode their desire to vote at all (or may flip them)

I was joking a bit

However - More people voted for “anything but Trump” than Biden if we’re going to go there.

I do agree, most of the "non-radical" left is in the "anyone but Trump" camp.

But thats a stratgey of trying not to lose instead of trying to win. Its never worked in politics.

The only reason Biden is the presumptive nominee is because Sanders was going to win so Obama got the rest to drop out and get behind Biden. If Biden dropped out before the convention it give Bernie time to take the nominee. So they leave Biden as the presumptive nominee until the convention and DNC can choose whoever they want without the voters having any say in it.

I think they will replace Biden. Democrats know they can't beat Trump now, so they will do whatever they can to win house/senate seats.

Im gonna disagree. If Obama wanted the rest out to get behind Biden, he would have endorsed him much sooner.

His endorsement doesnt read of actual support but simply because he was the last one standing after the primaries.

If the DNC were to replace Biden, I would be shocked but I think it ends extremely poorly for them. (remember the failure of trying to push Bloomburg to the front?)

The DNC is a private organization, can pick their nominee out of thin air on the day of the convention, can choose someone that has never been on a ballot in any state in the United States?
