I live in Commiefornia, and I feel the need to get a firearm more by the day. Any recommendations for a good home defense weapon? I'm looking at getting some type of pistol and want to know what would be a good starter. Keep in mind I am limited to CA roster.

After years of buying and swapping pistols my 2 favorites are: the Sig 320 and the Ruger SR40. Both are full size. The Ruger can shoot the nuts off a fly from 40 yards and in, its has been crowned the night stand gun. The sig is my travel gun (my CC is the Sig 365). Hope that helps.
