Was Karl Marx ethnically German? Did he move from Germany as a somewhat young adult and later end up in London?

If you must find credit, there's Francisco Franco, who defeated the Soviet-backed Communists, to the chagrin of Western artists, writers and other sympathizers.

But he was anti-US, anti-capitalism.

We have Brigadier General Jimmy Stewart, all-American, pro-USA, anti-Communist. Don't need to find a good word to say about monsters when we have authentic heroes.

EDIT: and we also had Communist sympathizers like Sterling Hayden, even then:
