Ugh, tell me about dude. 40k is like the one hobby I have that hasn't been taken over by them.

At least Arch's email campaign seems to have held the tide back a bit.

You remember a couple of weeks ago when GW put out that "Warhammer is for everyone... except the people with wrongthink?"

Arch covered that, and since it was the first "officially" woke thing GW published (at least that I've seen or heard of), Arch asked everyone to send emails to GW saying they disagree, and that Warhammer is for everyone. Period.

So many emails were sent GWs website came down for a bit.

Then, during the recent quarterly earnings report, GW emphasized that their hiring and promotions are based on merit (i.e., they're not trying to fill diversity quotas).

So we're all thinking that they got the message. GW can't just come out and say they're "anti-woke" in today's age, but it looks like that kind of messaging has been quietly...quieted.

I am really hoping they got it, because 40k is like my one escape from all this craziness.

Exactly man. I don’t need them to endorse Trump, I don’t want them to endorse Trump.

I don’t want them to denounce BLM either.

I want them to have exactly 0% politics in how they do business.

It’s about my dudes beating your dudes on the table.

Hell yeah, dude. Our modern bullshit has no place in the game.

I sit down and paint to relax and get lost in another world. I have my buddies over to throw some dice, have some fun, and get a bit of social interaction during our busy lives.

Here's hoping GW can stay off the woke train.
