There was a female Chinese agent scouting out Mar-a-lago. A man successfully jumped the barricades and rushed the stage from behind Trump during an air hangar rally. Security caught him right as he was about to reach the stage and supporters were shouting and pointing to him so Trump could be aware of what was happening. (This is also one of the rare times you can tell Trump has a conceal carry - he immediately started reaching for something on his hip under his jacket once he realized a man was rushing him.)
A man SUCCESSFULLY brought a gun into another rally and Trump had to be rapidly escorted out by security after the man produced the gun and attempted to take aim at the podium while Trump was speaking. Supporters in the crowd were able to prevent the man from getting a clean sight and literally held his arms down so he couldn't raise the gun while Trump was safely removed.
People seriously underestimate how much his supporters stand by him - he fights for us, so we'll fight for him.
And remember that these were all just during the 2016 rally. This doesn't get into the numerous times individuals entered the White House grounds (one got INSIDE the White House), the people that got into Mar A Lago, the individuals that attempted to ram their cars through barriers to enter his locations, etc.

There was an attempt to shoot down airforce 1 with a missle when Pres Trump was going to north korea. Patriots intercepted it!
