Is there going to be fallout because the teachers union decided they didn't want to show up for work? Will public school enrollment drop? Can I recoup my property taxes if I send my kids to private school or home school them? There was just a ruling on this but I don't understand how to take advantage of it.

(canadian here) As soon as covid hit I started planning to homeschool my 3 kids. I have a stay at home wife anyway. I think children wearing masks is satanic.
Well we were set to go back and then a 4th grader miraculously got covid and now everything is hysteria as usual. We are fed up and comsidering the starting to review homeschool process.
Enrolled the kid today in private school.
