There's two types of people in the world. Those who get lucky and those who don't.

Tons of people in SF would fight to the death like this. Few would get lucky enough to be hit dozens of times without bleeding out or getting paralyzed/body parts blown out with baseball sized holes in the muscles.

With respect, are you speaking from your experience in combat?

You know why Sun Tzu says "leave an opening, do not press an enemy too hard"?

He also advocates "put your own army into a situation which seems to have no way out, and they will fight to the death".

I know people. If you're trained SF and in that situation you're going to do whatever it takes.

So why did the SEALs retreat?

People do not throw their lives away rarely. Most people will not do shit unless they can get out of it. All vets talk a big game, its even a running joke. But the reality is different that is beyond brave what he did and clearly not what everyone who has been shot 12 times would do.

Because they had a way out. Duh. Read above.

Do you just speak to read yourself? Think first.

Ok bro, everyone is a hero. Got it. What ever makes you happy. The guy did something brave, you sound angry that it wasn't you. This is not something "everyone" would do.
