umm, I don't see this as a bad move. I want Iran and North Korea to think we'll take them out at a moments notice.

Sorta this- maybe "some" didn't want to advise him but I'm sure others did. In fact, he rejected Bolton, so how "mad" could Trump have been?

keep your enemies guessing- wise strategy.

I'm going with "Media hype" on this one. I guarantee, with all the Warhawks who wanted us to stay in Syria talking to him also, Trump knew his military options.

the white ones are to rebellious and individualistic by nature, they're too much trouble for the elites, also work really well together when push comes to shove

Terrorist : My fight's not with you, Trump.

Trump : I beg to differ, sir. We started a game we never got to finish. "Play for Blood," remember?

Terrorist : Oh that. I was just foolin' about. I didn't really mean I was going to attack the US.

Trump : I wasn't.

Sure, but I would rather the President's advisors to be advising our president, not advising other world leaders. Sounds pretty treasonous.

What does this say about loyalty though

Smurfection 1 point ago +1 / -0

Washington D.C. is full of disloyal snakes who think they are in charge of policy.

Yeah, he was so eager to "take the US to war" in Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, N. Korea, Iran and Ukraine that he began pulling troops out of these strategic areas of the world, and demanding that NATO start carrying their own weight. Sure, Charlatanry Not News, you keep shoveling that horseshit.

I'll never forget when Assad supposedly gassed rebels and civilians in an area they just retreated from and the entirety of U.S media was calling for a full scale invasion. No investigation. No diplomatic options. Nothing. The war machine had kicked into full form based on a story that was dubious even at face value.

That was really the first moment when I fully accepted that there is something sinister at play in our country. Shoutout Trump for bombing an empty air base and getting the fuck out of Syria.

The days after that "gas attack" were Trump's most popular days with the fake news.

FreedomFromGovt 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yep. I had that in mind when I made my comment. Thanks pede!

Mayhe you should've told your counter parts to stop fucking around before they found out, instead of playing back room politics with NORTH KOREA AND FUCKING IRAN. FUCKING ASSHOLES.

This is Jim Sciutto, CNN's chief Russian collusion propagandist. Everything he says about Trump is 100% false and made up

Holy shit.

6
mintscape 6 points ago +6 / -0

Total bullshit, how do I know? Because Trump had John Bolton as his Assistant for National Security Affairs who only would push for war and Trump told him to fuck off.

The media are lying as usual to try to manipulate people into being scared Trump will start a war when in reality he is bringing our troops home.

A bunch of people who were fired claim that they were the only thing holding the place together and their boss was a JERK

I feel like this might be part of the madman strategy. It's been working out quite well actually.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Doesn't lead the US into a single new war or armed conflict in the first four years of his presidency...

TRUMP ADVISERS (ACCORDING TO CNN): Afraid the President might accidentally take the US to war...

Why post this shit. Jim Sciutto is a certified liar

4
Notablitheringidiot 4 points ago +4 / -0

Where in the name of all fuck did this idea that Trump is a warmonger start?

Even back in 2015 when I wasn’t totally won over yet, I saw no indication he was going to start a war.

5
stjdalen 5 points ago +5 / -0

CNN, fake news.

3
CannonballJunior 3 points ago +3 / -0

LMAO. Trump isn't the one who needs to be restrained from going to war. This story smells overwhelmingly like fake news. Designed to get voters to think Trump isn't fit to be CIC. Pathetic.

Art of the deal boys. Nobody wants an actual war with us. These have been often controlled engagements. In a true war we would destroy almost anyone in days.

3
ChickNorris 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well, this is coming from CNN so who knows if there's any truth to it or not. Multiple "former admin officials" meaning these people either left or were fired for reasons... not the most trustworthy sources.

3
stjdalen 3 points ago +3 / -0

From the guy that told us for years Trump is a Russian asset. This is 100% fake news

3
TrumpVictorious 3 points ago +3 / -0

Anyone communicating the military posture of the President to “counterparts in other countries” behind official communication lines deserves a swift trial for treason. They have chosen the other country over the USA.

3
TwoIfBySea 3 points ago +3 / -0

And the warhawks quit because he was ending wars and avoiding getting sucked into new ones!

3
Airvehicle2 3 points ago +3 / -0

If this is true, but this is CNN, what they are actually afraid of is that he won’t start any wars.

"...fearing the president might accidentally take the US to war..."

Is it their decision, or is it the decision of the man who was actually elected?

The arrogance of these people knows no limit.
