10k - 70k doesn't seem like a ton coming from a company the size of Hasbro. That's like... half an employee?

My guess -- and I could be totally wrong -- but my guess is that it's going to local politicians. Hasbro is based out of my home-state, which is super liberal, and almost always has dems in power, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're greasing the pockets of some local politicians to help them out with varying efforts ranging from tax breaks, expansion efforts, etc (just given their importance as a business in this state and their overall influence). Still obnoxious and obviously biased, but given the amazing state of corruption in Hasbro's home-operating state, this is small potatoes compared to what else is going on in local politics (and has been for decades in one of, if not the most corrupt state)

I have a longtime (25+ years) friend who works there. He went from being a tentative Trump supporter to someone who now states he "hates America". He thinks John Oliver is a great source for news. He also acts like a man sized baby whenever minor things don't go his way. He is heavily medicated to regulate his moods.

I’ve never even heard of someone who voted for Trump in 2016 and won’t in 2020 except for trolls (ironically)

That graph actually tracks the shitification of America. Weird. 1990 was still a decent time and by 1996 you could see the downfall on the horizion.
