Saw a correction by a "whitehouse official" that it was just for WeChat/Tiktok related stuff only and not gaming for example.

The Chinese owners of TikTok have 45 days to spin off Tiktok to an American buyer. After that, TikTok is effectively banned in the US under national security grounds.
