Yeah, if aircraft were falling out of the sky that often then we'd be looking at regulatory investigations and a congressional investigation into the whole damn thing. Thats comparing apples to oranges though. People with masks have still contracted COVID. People staying at home have still contracted COVID. People social distancing have still contracted COVID.
For aircraft its either maintenance or sabotage. With COVID you can do everything they saying is right and you can still contract it. Hell, you staying at home with your central AC unit that hasn't had its filter changed in what 5 years? 10? Breathing in your own dead skin cells and shit and you wanna blame people for going outside?
These people are batty. Just someone trying to use statistics to make people afraid. Look at the rate of car crashes and driving fatalities. That'll scare you every time you get in your car but I don't hear about anyone rioting over txting drivers. I've got a dog in that race though. Had a woman hit me head on that wasn't paying attention, had drug paraphinalia in the truck, suspended license for DUI, not her truck, etc. Got 5 citations at the scene and never showed up in county jail. EMTs said me and my friend shouldn't have survived. Moral of the story is don't fuck around when driving!
